No - he did not do any tests.
I described his issues, he checked his skin for fleas/mites to rule that out and said it had to be allergies.
He was scratching alot - he sratched above his eye so hard one time that it started bleeding a little. He was also chewing his paws, which is apparently common with allergies, according to the vet.
I kept telling myself the same thing...yorkies have skin problems, he'll be ok....but Luca started looking really pitiful scratching all the time, so I took him. It is such a relief to have that taken care of now. Luca looks much happier.
