Maximus is confined to our bathroom with his crate, unless of course we are hands on watching him in the other parts of the house. I'm working on leaving him out when we are here and leaving his crate open but every time I do this, he shuts the crate door (I honestly think it is an accident when he is playing), but once it shuts, he can't open it. How do you keep it opened?
I do still depend on the crate often but he still pees in his crate. He did last night, but that was my fault. I gave him too much water before we went to bed and then I didn't wake up in time to let him out.
