Chloe (she's 8 mo. old )sleeps in her playpen at night. I had her in a small crate at first but she whined and hated it . We decided not to crate train her because she uses potty pads and since we were not taking her out every couple hours to pee , we decided a playpen would hold everything and still make her feel secure. In her playyard she has her bed and potty pad and snuggle toys , so she doesn't whine (most of the time ) .
Our other dog Sydney ( 3 yrs. old ) was crate trained , and she still sleeps in her crate at night.We have considered letting the dogs sleep with us or our kids ( well the big dog sleeping with the kids and Chloe with us )But both dogs seem fine with their sleeping arrangements , so we just leave it as is. |
