Rylie always had short hair when my parents and sister had him but I've been growing it out for over a year now and it's finally pretty long. I dress him everyday..I just make sure clothes aren't too tight and I brush before i dress and after I undress and it's fine. He doesn't get tangles too bad and no matts. I really prefer them with long hair too so I can understand where your husband is coming from lol but I know a lot of people like the convenience of shorter hair. I think having long hair and dressing them is completely doable though.
