I have the iphone and I am the only one on my plan with the data added to my line. It only makes about a $30 difference in the bill. There are 4 of us total and everyone else has unlimited txting and picture share but no internet. So it is possibile to have internet on just one line. If thats what you want for her
But you can't insure the iphone! There is additional coverage you can purchase but only for "internal" type of damage, not dropping or breaking! So It is pretty costly to replace it is breaks
There is a blackberry 8800 that is really nice and it has a camera!
