You need to read about 90 dogs recently seized that will go up for adoption in about a month (they have to formally charge the owner first). You can find info at theledger.com | The Ledger | Lakeland, FL or www.polkonline.com They will go for the normal adoption fee for Polk County Animal Shelter. It may pay for a winter break to FL now that gas is cheaper. They showed them on tv and there are several yorkies to choose from, but you know there is a lot of interest on pure bred pups for a minimal adoption fee.
