A month old puppy is too young to tell much by at all. Their eyes will have only been opened for about a week and they will barely have their legs under them. There's no way to judge temperament, size, health or coat quality at that age. A Yorkie is pretty much generic until about 7 0r 8 weeks old and then you may be able to get a rough idea of the type of dog it will turn out like. You can't have a really good idea until about 12 weeks old. Looking at the parents, while good, isn't going to give you a definite idea of what the pup will turn out like. If the 2 parents have been paired together before, pictures of those pups will help but then you're trusting the breeder to be honest which isn't always the case. Finding a breeder you can trust is very important. One that is a YTCA member will be adhering to the club's rules and will be striving to improve the breed with their breeding program. Remember too, that an unhealthy Yorkie is never a bargain, no matter the price. BTW, welcome to YorkieTalk. This is a great site and if you look around, you may just find your pup here. There is a for sale forum and also the health/diet and sick/emergencies forums are very informative.
