My puppy was positive for Giardia. She has a bad habit of eating poop so it took a while to get a negative fecal test back. She was on Metronidazole for several weeks and I have even given her Panacur for three days. I just got recent fecal test results and it looks like it is negative. I am just afraid that the Giardia could still be in her system because I have two other dogs I do not want to infect just in case and am thinking of giving her another round of Panacur. I would love to get some advice or hear experiences dealing with similar situations.
