Most do it as a combo and that should be okay but I know distemper comes as a single and I think parvo if you want to go that way.
Also, parainfluenza is not a core vaccine but since it is in with most of the combos, it is hard to avoid. Lepto is also now core. That's when I start to look at the risks vs. benefits. I think with a healthy dog, I'd personally give into giving the parainfluenza just because it's easier and I don't think it is a big deal. There is a vaccine that contains only distemper, parvo and hepatitis but I forgot who it is through or if the company is any good.
