He really needs to see a vet. Eyes respond better to quick treatment. They will put dye in his eye to see if it's scratched or punctured and you'd need medicine to place in it. You also need to know if the scratch or puncture is located in his cornea. Damage there if not treated properly ....can lead to vision loss and/or the loss of his eye.
