My sister-in-laws Maltese ate the stuffing out of her blanket . She was deathly sick,started not walking right,not eating and not drinking.She took her to the vets and bella had to have a surgery to get it out of her belly. Her emergency surgery cost around 1500,so it was quite expensive,and her condition was life threatning. I would take anything away with a fabric or cotton filling. Bella is doing really well now and she has stopped eating everything she can get her mouth on. Good luck,,these babies are quite a handful!! Lisa&Chloe
