Default What clues tip your Yorkie off to an unpleasant task?

I snapped the top off some new doggy toothpaste tonight, a flavor that Eddie doesn't like, and I could hear his feet sprinting down the hall even before the gel hit the brush. He hid under the bed.

This morning I reached for the booties, and Jack raced for his doggie bed and curled up as tightly and securely as he could, refusing to budge. He hates wearing booties, and he doesn't particularly like walks when the temperature is in the single digits.

Am I the only one with Yorkies who run for their lives when they are tipped off about an unpleasant task coming their way? And if not, what tips them off?
