Be careful with believing that in all cases because there are many unscrupulous breeders that charge way too much...People blindly believe that the pup must be healthy because they paid so much...That is not always the case.
Honestly, you can get a good quality yorkie for under 1500, IMO, from a reputable breeder.
CupofDog is absolutely correct, concentrate on finding a quality breeder first.
