Since it's "slim-pickings" where you live you should consider makeing different things and selling them. I sure would if I was in your area. I'm sure there are many people there who have pets that would love to find cute things for their babies.
Only my youngest loves her toys and she has just way too many. I did get all three girls a few stuffed toys and am having my friend knit them beautiful matching sweaters. That's it for them.
