I know exactly what you are saying. I had my dog's teeth cleaned and they charged me $225.00 and they want to do it YEARLY! Ok, I am all for caring for my pets, but they charged me $12.00 just to walk by and check my dog while she was waking up from anesthesia. That is a bit excessive in my opinion. I honestly don't believe there would be so many pets in shelters if the price of healt care for them wasn't so outrageous. People say you shouldn't have them if you cannot afford them, but does that mean at any cost the vet wants to charge for their services?
