Ok, I'm kind of scared. Dh has been off for the holiday (thank goodness he went back today, lol) and every night he has been "playing" with Maximus. I mean, hours at a time. Which is nice. I hate to admit that I don't do that. I mean, I play with him a bit, but when he starts nipping and biting, I'm done. Well, a Christmas or two ago my dd got a stuffed yorkie (The Children's Place). It was one of those, spend so much $$ get a free Yorkie deals. Well, that is Maximus' yorkie now. You put it done in front of him, it is WAR! So, dh goes in his play area and plays with him, gets him wound up, to where he is in fight mode, biting, growling. Getting him to jump up his legs for the stuffed yorkie. He is NOT interested in being loved on at this time. His heart is just a beating. lol His goal is to put that yorkie in submission.

My question, is dh messing up my chances to have a sweet pup? Dh cuts up with me and says, "look at him, he's psychotic". I told him that he was making him that way. Even now, when I go in the bathroom to do anything, when I reach for him, he holds his head back and shows teeth. I want a sweet puppy. Do I need to forbid the dh to play so rough with him?
