Hey! We use a crate too. He sleeps in it at night with the door closed, and he makes it a solid 8 hours without having to go potty. During the day we just put a baby gate across the door and leave him with a little hallway and the bathroom if we'll be gone for longer that 3-4 hours. His puppy pads are in our hallway so hes pretty used to going on them if he needs to during the day. Our crate was like 15 euro--20 dollars. and its a decent sized plastic one that he loves to cuddle up in.
