First of all....welcome to YT! The site that was posted (above) will give you a good idea on what is good to feed your pup. ANY dog food that can be bought in a grocery or retail store is not going to be good food. Most of them have by-products in them and a lot of junk that isn't good for dogs....not just yorkies...any dog. I don't understand what you mean by a mix? were you told this by the breeder? Yorkies ARE a toy breed....there is no such thing as a tea cup...this is a term used when a puppy is very small...and....a lot of breeders use this the term "toy" and jack up the prices making people think they are getting something they are not...I do hope you didn't pay tons of money for this little one. I feed canidae, all stages, to both my girls. I know there has been talk about them changing the formula but, that was on for the lamb and rice kibble. The chicken kibble has not changed...Good luck finding a good food for your little one.
