So, I watched the videos at goveg.
I see that they are made by PETA.
The footage can't be denied, but what I would like to know is, is this just the worst of the worst or is it happening everywhere?
I think PETA has a tendency to make a big deal out of things that they shouldn't and I really don't fully trust their "research"?
So, does anyone have any non-PETA information about animal cruelty to cows, chickens, pigs, etc.?
What are the laws in the US about this?
When they are using those inhumane methods, is that illegal or are they within theirs rights?
Any links?
Not the Humane Society either please...they are too close to PETA and that isn't going to do me any good right now.
Or I should say, I'd be willing to watch more videos from these organizations but can't take what I am seeing as 100% true without other sources...
Thanks
Oh, and please no PETA, Humane Society or meat-eater bashing in this thread.
I have Googled but there is so much to sort through and when things come up, it is related to one or two companies...hardly a reason to get mad at the whole industry...
