My baby stays in a vinyl crate/carrier when I cannot look after him (cooking, etc.) he also naps in there and sleeps in there at night, he loves it. He has a bed but likes the crate as it has sheepskin on the bottom that can be removed and washed.. I suppose he likes the security of being in the house rather than out in the open in the bed.
I got it for about $20 and it is a good sized one. You could get one of those and use it as a multi purpose and then get an x-pen which would run mabe $60-$80 and use it for him to hang in when you are away for extended periods of time.. it would be a total of maybe $100 |
