I'm in Rio Rancho NM outside Albuquerque. We're not near the mountains, but I have mountain view in the distance. 2700+ SF 5 bdrm, 3 bath is $260K - $300K. We are cheaper than in Albuquerque by a bit. My house over near the mountain would be over $700K.
