Last year I mentioned to DH that I miss having a mantle to decorate at Christmas time. This is the first house that we've had that has not had a fireplace. We have downsized to a tiny bungalow since retirement and there really was no place for one anyway. I was gone for a few days and look what happened  to our living room!!!! It's almost finished. Just in time for me to decorate it for Christmas. The marble tile is cream with pink, red and gold veins. I love it. He built the bookcase last summer. Lit the stove last night and it was toasty in the living room. |
