One thing I learned working retail for four years... a lot of places will mark down a few "hot items" but leave everything else the same price. They'll put the "hot items" in the back of the store so you have to go through all of the regular priced items in front and you'll see things you like going through there. Retailers KNOW people WILL spend money on black friday and they do take advantage. Not everything goes on sale, but you really can find SOME great deals out there.
