Inez3185 I read your last post and just wanted to clarify. Glenda said she did not send HER puppies to petstore, however, she also said that SHE DID ship pups as a favor to a friend. Does that make it right or reputable just because it was not her personal stock that went to the store?
According to the document/s not document MULTIPLE shipments were made. It was not just a one time lack of judgment.
Inez you made mention of "you and your friends". I just want to clarify that I AM NO ONE"S FRIEND. I do not know Glenda and I do not know ANY of those posting on this thread other then Sugar's Mom. As a reputable rescue member I work diligently every day to help in shutting bad breeders down, shutting pet stores (because pet stores keep puppymills in business).
I came on because I was sent the document/s and as someone that works with digital photography and photoshop etc. I do not see anything to indicate that these were doctored up. I believe them to be the real deal. And, whether Karen is new or a long standing member she did not deserve to be crusifide for supplying info. that no one wanted to hear.
Do you all remember Stacy from PA? She was very very reputable then one person came forward to tell their story. Many came on then too to defend Stacy. Then another came on and another with their stories. All were afraid to speak up due to Stacy's reputation. Next thing you know there was an article in the paper about multiple violations at her kennel. Even reputable breeders/nice people make mistakes, take bad turns. It's not something any of us want to believe or see but it does happen.
Friendship or not it's hard to ignore the document/s. MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS, DIFFERENT BREEDS, ALL GOING TO A PETSTORE. What do we tell new YT members when they are looking for a breeder? A sure red flag is a breeder that breeds many different breeds. Yet, if what Glenda is saying is the truth that she shipped pups for a friend that would mean the friend she shipped for breeds multiple different breeds (or) did she ship for MANY different friends?
I'm not here to tarnish anyone. I believe everyone is entitled to a mistake and is entitled to correct it. There are many breeders and it's up to us to educate people And, I believe that Karen tried to do just that.
