You shouldn't beat yourself up about it.
It's not like you intentionally spent that kind of money to bring home an "ugly" Yorkie (is that even possible?).
My ex-husband's mother is all about status and appearances too, so I feel you on that point. But think of it like this: that is a lesson for her, not you. Her having an odd looking Yorkie could be the universe teaching her a lesson, it just sucks that the lesson had to come through you (I know about that too).
If you think she is going to be all weird, then explain. No one knows what they are coming home with when it comes from the pet store. It's a sad, but very true fact. |
