Yorkies don't shed and at only 10 weeks old, she is too young to be getting her adult coat anyway. Has she been to your vet for a complete check up? Does she scratch? You need to make sure there isn't a physical reason why she is loosing her hair.
CKC (Continental Kennel Club) is one of the "alternative" registries that was formed when the AKC adopted stricter rules and started requiring DNA testing. Papers from any of the alternative registries are no guarantee that a puppy is purebred. All the CKC requires to register a dog (besides $12) is the signature of two witnesses stating that the dog is purebred and a couple of photographs. Witnesses do not have to be experts or vets, they can be your next store neighbor or your Uncle Harry.
