Besides the breeders these days are making me sick with what they're doing to this beautiful breed - I mean the GREEDY breeders - that's why you're seeind so many sick yorkies -

I don't mean the breeders who care but I DO mean the breeders in it for a fast buck .....Good breeders sell healthy yorkies that actually LOOK like yorkies

but I'm still rooting for shelter dogs. They need all the help they can get and the breeders in it for the $$ need to take a long look at what they're doing to the dog population.

Am I ranting a bit ?? sorry -

NOT not even a tiny bit
I agree with you. We went to a a breeder recommeded by our Vet and she had the cutest yorkies but she also bred poms and I saw one and feel in love. That is the dogs for me. She also has genetic testing on all her dogs. Right after we left we got a call from the woman who I had doubts about she left a message that our yorkie was ready to be picked up. That puppy just turned 6 weeks today and when we were there a few days ago visiting our pup they were still nurseing. Poor baby will most likely go to another home to soon but not mine. Thank you all for your input and yes to the poster who said maybe a yorkie was not for me that was the case today.
