I like both boys and girls. My suggestions include the following: If you want just a pet, I would fix a boy and he would be great with no worries about the lifting the leg thing. A boy is generally cheaper than a girl puppy. Size wise, check out the parents and if one is too big for you, do not get a puppy from them. Tiny puppies come in both sexes. Spend some time if possible with the parents of the puppy and the entire litter before making your decision on one. You will be able to tell a lot about them and be able to make a better decision for yourself! Enjoy the process and your new puppy!
