About 2 hours ago I lost my little Lacey. I haven't really posted on here in a few months because I've been so busy with school. But Lacey and my mom's dog Holly (a Boston Terrier) always played fetch together and Holly would get the ball and Lacey would chase right behind her...y'all know how fast little Yorkie's legs move!
Anyway, today was like any other day throwing and Lacey chasing. Well it so happened that Lacey got to the ball first and Holly just turned on her and grabbed her neck. This is also something that has happened before, but today she must have just grabbed her too hard and Lacey's neck broke and she died instantly. This is the first dog that I've had on my own and everyone always knew that Lacey was with me almost 95% of the time. I have never felt so much hurt in my entire life. The weirdest thing of it though was I took Lacey to work with me this morning (I work in a bank) and obviously we're not supposed to have pets there. Maybe it was a sign or something. I don't know. My heart just hurts. Lacey would have been 4 this May. Thank you for reading, just writing all of this down helps a little. RIP my Lacey Lou Bug, I will love you forever and always.
