Is this the Vet that is going to do the Scintigraphy? If he isn't familair with shunt dogs, then I would be a little concerned about the scintigraphy, I would tend to think he would be doing a U/S - So please confirm this with him before you proceed...unless he is sending you to a Specialist?
Dr. Tobias in TN and Dr. Center in NY at Cornell *could* do all of this as well, so if you plan to come to the East coast for this...maybe you should try to get it all worked out here
