When is it warmer can you work with him just letting him run through the car without it moving... could be ansiety based and if you turn it into a fun place it may be better.
Alos do not only just take him to the vet in the car or car is bad.
Also try a sound tape from trough the dogs ears for car rides.... helps some dogs.
Also change where he ridesw.
I had one dog that can ride anywhere. Another got sick if she rode in the back of the SUV but not in the back seat over the wheels.... also maybe letting them see out the front can help.
Ear that balance them can be set off by either seeing or not seeing and it may get better as he grows but by then stress of the rides and being sick will kick in.
Bio calm or composure which is a natural drug can help.
