Did you plan to have children or more children?
If the answer is no then you do not need a puppy. Puppies demand a lot of attention and require a lot of work. |
Pretty good, except I take issues with this one little section. Kids and dogs go together like cheese and crackers. You don't have to choose one or the other.
Instead, I'd emphasize that children need to be involved in the care of a dog from Day One, so it just doesn't fall on Mommy and Daddy, who already have a ton of obligations as it is. Even the smallest children can help put food out and learn to walk a dog, especially if it is trained from an early age by
everyone in the family. Kids can also pick up dog poop and learn to groom their dog too. Kids who love their dog and are already accustomed to regular chores should have no issue with this.
People can have "skinkids" and "furkids" too.
