Symptoms of Collapsing Trachea can begin at anytime. I would have that checked and be sure to never use a collar on this guy, they can aggravate the condition..so harnesses only. If the symptoms depart when you hold the back of your hand to his nose and force him to mouth breathe and calm down gently stroking his throat, it is a strong indication of a trachea issue. Do search here on this, there are many threads on this problem.
