I have tried several shampoos, and right now I'm using Pet Silk. I love it! No matting, no tangles, my boys' hair is very shiny and soft. It also smells really good! The only thing I've heard about using human shampoos/conditioners on dogs is that their Ph is different than ours. But, I have used Aussie Three Minute Miracle on mine and love it.
As for teeth brushing, I found that using a fingertip toothbrush works best because my boys don't seem to mind my finger in their mouth, but they HATE toothbrushes. I have been using PetzLife Oral Care Gel, followed by the spray for quite some time now, and it works great! They didn't like it at first, but they are used to it now and don't mind as much. I use it on them every night right before bed. My vet says their teeth are amazing.
I also give them a good brushing once a week with a fingertip toothbrush and doggie toothpaste.
