Wow, thanks for all the great responses everybody! I gave the canned organic pumpkin a try again this afternoon and this time I added just a bit of chicken broth as recommended. It worked like a charm and she ate it right away. About two hours later - viola`- never was I so relieved to see her go #2! :-) The consistancy seemed almost normal so thats good too.
