To begin, I, Glenda Beavers, have never been on a chat line or forum but it has come to my attention that my integrity as a breeder and fancier has been in question so I’m going to address it as follows…

I have never sold one of MY pups to ANY pet store, INCLUDING Puppy Love. In fact, you will find no DNA from any pet shop trace back to my DNA line. Furthermore, I generally ask many questions before I place any of my dogs with individuals. They are placed one at a time, not in groups.

In regards to the health certificates in question…I have been friends with the owners of Puppy Love for years and occasionally, when asked, would pick a dog up for them and ship it for them (again, NOT mine). I make no money from doing this and do it only out of friendship for them. I have nothing to hide. They have their business, and I have mine…end of story.

I’ve spent 30 years perfecting my breed. Why would I sell my yorkies to a pet shop? I don’t need to.

There continues to be numerous clients and fanciers visit and verify my kennel. I welcome anyone to come to my place unannounced and see my yorkies and operation at anytime. You will see nothing but yorkies (SHOW yorkies) there. Yorkies that will never and have never been in a pet store. I always tell people, when asked about raising and showing yorkies, that you cannot like the breed, but must LOVE the breed! I have dedicated thirty years of my life to this breed. When I leave it, I pray that it will be left much better than when I began.

To those who have defended me, I appreciate you and I am the same person I’ve always been, doing the same thing I’ve always done.

I am not a broker. The dogs being mentioned in this thread were not my dogs. I just did a favor for a friend. In my professional opinion, I don’t understand the significance in raising this as an issue.

Please contact me directly with any questions I have not addressed here, for this is hopefully my first and last time to ever address anything that would question my love and devotion to this breed.

Sincerely,

Glenda Beavers
