I went into Petsmart the other day, I asked on of the ladies what the "toughest" toy they had was. The girl was really nice and told me her two bullmastifs had been playing with this one firehose toy for a year - and they are chewers! So I bought it for our doberman. Within 5 minutes, it was destroyed. ah! What a waste of money.
If I buy any toys for Lexi I have to keep them away from the other dogs as they'll destroy them in seconds. I started balling up old socks, a free solution. And they last longer than most pet story toys even with our doberman!
It is funny, my Golden retriever can tell if I have a bag from the pet store as soon as I walk in. Even if there is no treats/food inside. |
