I think you are in a good range for weight, I thought about 5-6 as well. Got any guesses for Height?
I'm not sure if you read above on one of the other replies I made, I want to purchase a carrier for him, however, I DO NOT want to purchase another when he gets older so I am trying to get an idea of the size I need.
