That might feel the safest for her, especially if shes used to having one inside the house for her to sleep. A 3 hour trip should be no problem. So, bring her crate and if she seems scared place her in the crate during the trip. Once she is in the car more, she may feel better and more comfortable riding in your lap or a doggie car seat. Whichever you prefer.

THANKS! JAVAH HAS NO PROBLEM IN THE CAR, I TAKE HIM EVERY MORNING TO DROP MY DAUGHTER OFF TO SCHOOL. ALSO IF WE GOTTA RUN ERRANDS WE TAKE HIM AS WELL. MY ISSUE IS MORE THAN AN HOUR RIDE IN THE CAR. *shrugs* BY THE WAY MY JAVAH'S 1ST BDAY IS TOMMORROW!
