Grain free is a wonderful option. Grains are not really a part of a dog's nutritional requirements and are mostly fillers. Foods that are grain-free tend to be healthier, higher quality and cause fewer allergic reactions.

Oh - and to krisknr - thanks for the support! I am SOOO into canine nutrition! LOL!!!!
