I would keep the 2 of them in separate rooms with a door shut between them. Or if they like to snuggle up and sleep together you could put them both in the create but you have to make sure they like each other enough!
I would at least put a puppy safe stuffed animal in the create as a snuggle buddy. The crying will stop. The puppy will get used to being alone at night.
