Your vet should give you post-care instructions, but if I can remember correctly from when Franklin was neutered, we were allowed to give food as soon as we got home but not the normal amount; water was never restricted. He did not have any exercise restrictions but I still tried to keep him from running around and jumping on and off the furniture. He was tired/groggy the day of his surgery but pretty much was back to normal the next day so it was tough keeping him calm! Don't let him bother the incision and get a onesie or e-collar if needed. Also, no baths until after the stitches come out. |
