We had two parvo epidemics at the animal shelter I worked at. None of the animals who contracted it survived...the ones who were not immediately killed to prevent the spread of disease succumbed quickly to internal hemmoraging. I spent two weeks in an environmental hazard suit cleaning blood out of cages...
It was so disheartening to come in in the mornings to find dogs lying dead in their kennels.
