I have two senior cats, they are indoors, and never in their life have seen a dog in our house, when I got Phoebe my first yorkie, I keep them separate for few weeks, them slow introduce them to each other always with close supervision, and the cats nail cut, so we don't have to be worry hurting Phoebe, little by little they became the best friends ever
