Well, Maggie got spayed today and she's doing fine! She's very sleepy/groggy and is curled up on a blanket in the corner of our couch. We were sent home with some Rimadyl tablets but I can't get Maggie to take them. She has pottied and drank a lot of water but I can't get her to eat. She got some teeth pulled out so I thought maybe she had a difficult time chewing; I tried putting the pill in cheese and peanut butter (her two favorite things) and no luck.
Should I be trying something else? She moans a little so it sounds like she's in pain but I don't know what else to do. Maybe she'll feel up to it in the morning but I'd hate for her to spend the night in pain.
