Could be reverse sneezing. Of course, yorkies are prone to CT (collapsed trachea) - so you hope it isn't that. My Marcel reverse sneezes - whenever he starts, I pick him up and put him by face, which he immediately start licking - and this stops the cycle of sneezing.
