Stop!!! Dont!! I contacted her last week and half of her pups have had underbites or hernias. She only gives a 6month guarantee for health. Also, there was that whole thread about someone else getting a puppy from her and many members of YT brought up the fact that she is USDA--hence a commercial breeder, which would then make her like my breeder that I left--a puppy mill. That YT member left this forum, but I wish I knew what she did. One of her references even though she was "happy" listed a ton of medical issues with the pups she got from there. It says on her website that she is USDA, but when I contacted the USDA (only because my VET is licensed by the USDA, so I wanted to make sure both were OK) SHe is not listed as being someone who has a license with them anymore. So her website is misleading.
If you want a sick pup, go for it, but I did not feel comfortable, especially after I was able to get my money back from my first breeder. Be careful--just because a dog is cheap doesnt mean its good. What you would have put up front for a little more expensive dog from a good breeder, will save you from the heatache of getting a small dog with health issues.
Countryhome Yorkies--breeder name is Denise Ronyan. I plan on going to see her this weekend in Boston. THere are also a lot of people that PM'd me about puppies they have and they are YT members.
Be careful! Good luck! |
