Hi again...you're going to be fine! The main thing to remember is not to be nervous...she'll need you to be calm. Do you have someone you can call if you need help or have questions during delivery? What about your vet's number...do you have that on hand? My husband was there to help me...while I helped Molly, used the suction bulb on the babies, swung them, dried them off...he was taking notes, making coffee and helping tie and cut cords. It was great to have someone there with me.
I only had to help Molly with her first puppy but after that she did everything on her own and it went very well. She had 3 boys and everyone is fat and happy. I hope your delivery goes well too! |
