To free feed is to leave their kibble down 24/7, they should be able to get to their food/water whenever they want. You'd be surprised, mine have always been free fed, and never really sit and just eat, they will pick at their food a little bit all day..I wouldn't worry, if your other dogs have had their shots, about your little guy. My new one is 5 1/2 mos. and although the vets scale said 2 lbs. mine is reading 1 1/2 lbs. she's 8 1/2 inches long through..not sure how high she is, will have to measure that yet...also, how old is he? Once they're over 12 weeks, and they're eating well, they really don't need the nutrical.

I'm going to try leaving his kibble out in the area that he roams in and see if that helps him from eating the entire serving in one sitting lol... Here are a few pics of him he is 6 inches high and 7.5 inches long and he weighs according to the vet scale a WHOPPING 3 lbs lol seems huge for his size, he is really little... but then again he's my 1st yorkie so I don't know too much. I'd love to see pics of your baby as well! oh and he will be 3 months in a couple of days... I am smitten with him
