I willl ask my father in law to see if he can call them and ask if I can bring something. I don't know them very well since me and my husband only have been married a year. I did go to the Thankgiving last year and his grandma is super secretive about her recipes and was offended when I asked her for a casserole recipe. I also brought a chocolate cheesecake that I made as a gift. The aunts are the ones (so I found out) that bring all the desserts and are very competitive with each other about it. They seemed insulted that I brought a dessert and when it was gone before theirs, they seemed to act weird around me. I don't really get them and my father in laws family only gets together once a year with my mother in laws family for Thanksgiving.

I guess you can see why Im nervous about this.

(Thier dinner will be on Saturday. Im cooking dinner on Thursday for my side of the family, all gluten-free and they are supportive of this.)
